MikroTik hEX S (2025) 採用雙核心 950 MHz ARM 處理器，搭配 升級版 512MB RAM，整體效能大幅提升。全機提供 5 個 Gigabit Ethernet 連接埠（Ether1 支援 PoE‑in、Ether5 支援 PoE‑out），並配置 支援 2.5G 傳輸速率的 SFP 光纖插槽，相較前一代在速度與擴充彈性上更具優勢。電源方面，支援 IEEE 802.3af/at 標準的 PoE‑in 輸入，同時具備乙太網埠 PoE‑out 功能（被動 PoE），可為下游裝置供電，是實現整體建置成本節省的實用設計。
