The SFP-35SM20D is a Taiwan-manufactured 1.25Gbps SFP BiDi (single-fiber) optical transceiver designed with TX1310nm / RX1550nm wavelength configuration. It enables data transmission over a single strand of Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) and supports a stable communication distance of up to 20 km.
BiDi (Bidirectional) optical modules utilize different transmit and receive wavelengths, allowing two-way data transmission over the same fiber strand. This design helps reduce fiber infrastructure requirements and is widely used in enterprise networks, campus networks, surveillance systems, and various fiber connectivity environments.
The module features a standard SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) interface, allowing installation in switches, routers, or other networking equipment that support SFP slots.
Single-Fiber Module Usage
This product is a BiDi single-fiber optical transceiver and must be used with a complementary wavelength module:

Installing one module on each device allows a full bidirectional communication link over a single fiber strand.
